TAROT
Tarot is an ancient divination method, used by many ancient cultures and civilizations to assist in understanding the subtle energies and connectivity of nature. Through studying the symbols we can help perceive our own place in nature and the cosmos.
There are hundredsof decks , each artist brings their own unique perspective of this understanding with color and form, sometimes abstract.
The genre of decks based on herbs focus on plants as their main symbol and there are many beautiful ones.
This site is not dedicated to or about to any deck in particular , rather it is a celebration of plants and their many gifts to all of us.There are many decks celebrating plants, herbs and faeries, and all of these teach us about earth. They are used as resources and references to expand our consciousness and knowledge about the planet on which we live.
My preferred method of reading is to be quietly in the forest or garden and "read" the nature signs around me. I hear the voices of plant, animals, wind, water, earth and all of the elements. These I then interpret into a reading. Later , in the quiet serenity of home, I will reference the cards.
I have used the same deck for well over 20 years and I find within it an unending source of information for meditation, personal growth and healing .
Although the authors and artists have written a list of corresponding herbs and cards I base my readings on my unique intuition and a much older list of astrological and botanical references which do not exist in the more modern writings.
My own studies refer to Paracelsus and earlier.
Paracelsus (11 November or 17 December 1493 in Einsiedeln, Switzerland - 24 September 1541) was an alchemist, physician, astrologer, and general occultist. Born Phillip von Hohenheim, he later took up the name Philippus Theophrastus Aureolus Bombastus von Hohenheim, and still later took the title Paracelsus, meaning "equal to or greater than Celsus", a Roman encyclopedist from the first century known for his tract on medicine
Though I have engaged in a life long study of ancient and occult symbols, I will never learn all or enough.
The journey through the cards is symbolic of our journey though life, constantly changing , shifting in a series of steps which sometimes lead down and sometimes lead upward and sometimes circle around . The journey is not a single forward motion, but a series of events, a hallway with many doors,and a circle.One can open any of the doors, explore and go back to the hallway by the same or different route. By the same token one can spend years in one room before venturing into another either by choice or force.
No matter how the path unfolds, the journey is a circle, and we but a small part of the living , breathing planet Earth. What an honor and privelage to take part in!

I am a published author; craftsperson, herbalist: also known as “the plant lady” a name fondly given to me by friends and clients. You will find info on my books and readings here.
I practice ancient ways green, herbalism, sometimes referred to as the Wise Women Way. Though I honor and respect the ancient paths of our eastern ancestors, I communicaate, learn from and heal with the plants of native american and european ancestors.

All our emotions are valid as are all concerns, thoughts and pathways.
As you know, no reading or reader can tell you what to do, as life is not carved in stone. Life is a constant flow of energy.
A reading will bring forth that which is already within you and what you inherently know.
I am knowledgeable in many healing arts including herbalism, homeopathy and aromatherapy and these are all incorporated into a reading along with plants, runes, color and whatever else comes as guidance.
HOW IT WORKS:
My readings are designed for serious seekers only .
When you decide you are ready, please email me your name only. I do not need to know your astrological sign, birth year or any other information unless you choose to tell me.
You may choose to ask a question or to just have your cards read. I always suggest the latter as what we think we want is usually not what we need.
Readings take a few hours to do and are taped on a cassette and mailed to you. this gives you the ability to reflect and look back any time you wish. After you listen and reflect , I invite you to call me with any questions you may have. My number is sent with your reading.
There are no additional or hidden fees ever for your reading/tape and consultation. Most of my clients have been clients for many years.
As time moves forward and your reading unfolds, I am always interested to hear about it.

Herbal Consultations
I do consultations for healing purposes via phone .
The fee is 40.00 .
You will be responsible for all phone charges.
Additional follow ups are 20.00 per half hour.
If you need arrange a payment, please email me beforehand.
