BROOMS
Care and Feeding
Essence
The image on top is broom corn from all over the world.
Is is actually in the Sorghum family and comes in a plethora of colors creating a veritable enthnobotanical rainbow..
I grow broom corn and craft (what else?) but brooms.
They range in size from small hand held ones to larger flying brooms to midsize brooms.
Size does not affect the beauty, refective or protective essence of your broom.
Brooms are crafted for healing, clearing, sweeping ,beauty.
They clear energies out and allow new ones it.
They are symbolic and spiritual to all women/men everyhwere.
Often called besoms, they shape shift from culture to culture, often appearing as magyk carpets, staffs, lamps, and genie bottles.
This year I grew organic Hungarian black broom corn and Czechoslavakian red.
If you are interested in a broom the harvest is in and I have begun taking orders.
Brooms are crafted from broomcorn and herbs that are grown in our garden. Brooms are crafted for healing, clearing, sweeping and beauty.
They are symbolic, spiritual and naturally beautiful.
The brooms are sown, grown, harvested and crafted by hand.
Many hours go into the creation of a broom and nature provides many gifts that are woven into each one.
Each broom is an original creation which cannot be copied.
CARE AND FEEDING.
Your broom will last a long time but like all living creations will eventually age.
Your broom does not like to be in direct sun.
Brooms prefer non direct light and a shadier environment.
They do not like to be to dry, to hot or overly wet.
You can mist them a few times a week to keep them from becoming overly dry.
You can spray craft fixative on them to preserve them longer.
Respect your broom as sacred art and fly well!
I also craft wands, staffs and amulets.
Your tool is a one of kind art piece and magykal tool.
It will both reflect and protect you.
They are hand made slowly, take some time to craft and cannot be copied.
Along with your broom you will recive a description of the plants used and their meanings.
